Harry Potter and Prisoner Of Azkaban | Trivia Quiz
Who hasn't heard about the famous Harry Potter series? I was contemplating the idea of sharing my feelings about this series because, even if not read or watched, everyone knows what it is about. So this post is less of a book review and more of "Why you should read Harry Potter". Putting an end to your curiosity I'm starting with the third book in the series because it's my favorite one.
The Harry Potter series is written by J.K Rowling. The first book was published in 1997. The third book was published in 1999. The book is about a boy named Harry Potter whose parents were killed by the darkest wizard of all time Lord Voldemort when he was just a year old. But the moment Voldemort tried to kill Harry his curse rebounded leaving Harry only with a scar on his forehead. But what remained of Voldemort was barely anything.
In the third book, Harry is in his third year at Hogwarts. As the new school term is about to start, news comes that Sirius Black a mass murderer and a devout follower of Voldemort has escaped from the Azkaban Prison for Wizards and Witches and Black is after Harry. Harry has been glimpsing a black colored dog, a grim which is considered a bad omen in the wizarding world. The situation is so bad that soul-sucking dementors are patrolling the school borders.
Now, coming to the main motto of this post, why you should read the Harry Potter series. We all are at our homes right now; Harry Potter being an interesting and easy read is a great choice to pass the time. You don't even need to start from the beginning. If you have seen the first two movies you can easily jump to the third book and you will be good. The Harry Potter books are written so fine that I believe people from any age group can enjoy it. If you read the books you get to know the different shades of the characters. Each character has their separate stories which make them who they are. Stories that you don't get to know in the movies because it's not possible to show every last detail yet these stories add to the overall meaning of the series. In this book, we get to know the backstory of Lupin which is so heartbreaking, and the friendship shown between Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs is what draws me towards this book.
The Harry Potter series is not just Voldemort chasing Harry but about all those characters sacrificing themselves for protecting Harry. Its a story about friendship, love, bravery, and... well, Quidditch! So grab your copy today and be a part of this magical world.
